Management board

NOGEPA’s management board is made up of member directors. Meeting every two months, important tasks include discussing and defining;future strategy, policy and budgets. The management board guides the committees and is advised by them;

  • Treasurer, Reidar Hustoft (Dana Petroleum)
  • Secretary, Bram van Mannekes, supports the work of the management board;

The president, vice-president and secretary are appointed at the annual general meeting of members. 

Committees and working groups 

NOGEPA has various committeees and working groups. These address various subjects of importance to the industry. The committees are permanent. The working groups are appointed as required and dissolved as their work is considered complete. 

The committees and working groups are made up primarily of experts seconded by member companies though representatives of associate members or external parties may also be attached. The presidents of the committees remain representatives of one of the members and are responsible to the management board. The secretariat of the various committees is made up of members of the permanent NOGEPA secretariat.

Currently NOGEPA has four committees under which various working groups are active. 

  • Health and Safety Committee;
  • Operations Committee;
  • Environment Committee;
  • Legal  Affairs Committee.

Working groups 
Apart from the various working groups pertaining to the committees, there are five working groups answering directly to the management board and being guided by it. 

  • Mining climate working group;
  • Communications working group;
  • Spatial planning working group;
  • Gas legislation working group;
  • Fiscal issues working group.
