In seeking to constantly improve health and safety in all areas of the Dutch oil and gas industry NOGEPA’s Health and Safety Committee plays a central role. In close cooperation with the Operations Committee it targets the following activities:

1. Mutual exchange of best practices, work methods, results of inspections and audits;
2. Distribution of lessons learned from incidents and accidents through safety bulletins;
3. Developing guidelines and methodologies;
4. Sharing health and safety systems;
5. Ensuring optimal safety training;
6. Optimising safety with and for contractors;
7. Organising special meetings on health and safety themes.
